The Cork History Teachers’ Association is dedicated to the promotion and teaching of History throughout the county and its environs. As an organization with over 100 members currently, we are a strong voice locally and nationally for representing historical education at secondary level.
As a branch organization of the HTAI (History Teachers’ Association of Ireland), we are involved in decision-making regarding the teaching of History at national level. Our aims are to advance further the teaching and learning of History and supporting the work of History teachers, especially at secondary level.
